Jukie

Privacy Policy

Overview

This policy explains what information Jukie collects and how it is used to provide Discord music playback, server configuration, song requests, uploads, and dashboard access.

Information We Collect

When you use Jukie, we may process Discord account and server information such as user IDs, usernames, server IDs, server names, role IDs, channel IDs, selected configuration settings, playback events, queue actions, uploaded filenames, and uploaded audio files. When you sign in to the dashboard with Discord OAuth, we use your Discord OAuth access token to identify you and list servers you can manage.

How We Use Information

We use this information to authenticate dashboard users, show manageable Discord servers, save server settings, verify bot permissions, enforce access controls, play audio, manage queues, announce now-playing information, provide upload and storage features, troubleshoot errors, and protect the service from abuse.

Uploaded Audio

Audio files uploaded through the dashboard are stored so Jukie can play them for the configured Discord server. Server administrators are responsible for uploaded content and for deleting content they no longer want hosted.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share information with Discord as needed to operate the bot through Discord's APIs. Information may also be processed by hosting, storage, security, logging, or infrastructure providers that help operate the service. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to enforce these policies.

Retention

Configuration data and uploaded audio are kept while a server uses Jukie or until removed by an administrator or operator. Logs and playback events may be kept for troubleshooting, security, abuse prevention, and service improvement. OAuth session data is used to keep dashboard users signed in and may be cleared by signing out or clearing browser cookies.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect service data. No internet service can be guaranteed perfectly secure, so server administrators should avoid uploading sensitive or private audio content.

Your Choices

You can remove Jukie from a Discord server, turn off playback, clear queues, delete uploaded tracks from the dashboard, or contact the operator to request help with deletion or access questions.

Children

Jukie is intended for use through Discord and is subject to Discord's age and account requirements. Do not use the service if you are not permitted to use Discord.

Contact

For privacy questions, contact the Jukie operator through the official support contact provided with the application or through jukie.app.
